Matthew Stone played this last night when we played disco at Durrr and it was soooo good. I guess it came out on the Italians Do it Better thing which has to also do with Glass Candy. New retro sounding excellent stuff.
Once again, I filtered though a whole bunch of apparently interesting (but not really) posts of rare disco that people are trying to get excited about to find the one that had the building instrumentals, the spacey vocals, the whole she-disco-bang. Enjoy. And once you go to this Mosquito Chimney blog, have a look around. Those Chimneys are all crazy rare collectors.

I've been excited about the Aeroplane remix of David Robato's Circuit for some weeks now but then I found this Steve Moore remix on 20 Jazz Funk Greats blog and it's really beautiful (though not quite as dancey as the Aeroplane mix). At the same time I found this great blog which lists fantastic lesser known 80s dance mixes and discovered the Computer Music - Central Unit track and noted how similar it was to the Rubato.
I'm sorry I just pretty much like everything these guys do. It just has the sound of musicians who know what they're doing. This is maybe not quite dancefloor friendly, but lovely version.
